Islam world’s largest religion?

Muslims has surpassed the numbers of Roman Catholics. Is Islam now the world’s largest religion? The Vatican newspaper reported last sunday…

“For the first time in history, we are no longer at the top: Muslims have overtaken us,” Monsignor Vittorio Formenti said in an interview with the Vatican newspaper L’Osservatore Romano. Formenti compiles the Vatican’s yearbook.

Muslims has 19.2 percent of the world population against 17.4 percent accounted to Catholics. One of the reason why the population of muslims booming is because of Muslim families continues to make lot of children and it is the fastest growing religion in every corners of the world like in Philippines and United States of America. Theres so many reverts here or Balik-Islam as what they called here in the Philippines.

Though Muslims has big numbers, it is yet to see how progressive it will be compare to few Jews who controls nor owned big companies in the world. Theres so many Muslims but it can hardly compete in international market like Muslims owned Halal fastfood competing against McDonald or Jollibee. I wonder if theres an international known brand run and owned by a Muslim entrepreneurs.

Yes… Islam is the world’s largest religion but it’s like a Tiger without a teeth. It’s large in numbers but it’s oppressed and discriminated. It sucks!

Colon Cancer Symptoms?

Last week the news was all about the icon of democracy in the Philippines – former President Cory Aquino. She was diagnosed and was now in treatment for colon cancer. And this colon came to my curiosity.

What is Colon Cancer?

Colon cancer is a cancer that forms in the tissues of the colon — the longest part of the large intestine.

According to the 2005 Philippine Cancer Facts and Estimates, cancers of the colon and rectum combined rank third overall leading cancer sites. These cancers combined were the third leading cancer sites among males and fourth leading cancer sites among females.

Philippine estimates for 2005 included 8,585 new cases and 5,558 deaths.

When reading all this news and about this colon cancer, i get to know more about it.

And to my shock, i almost have all the symptoms of colon cancer posted in GMANews.tv like change in bowel habits such as recurrent diarrhea and constipation, particularly with the presence of abdominal discomfort, and a blood in the stool except i don’t have weight loss, unexplained anemia since i’m now overweight.

I have bad healthy lifestyle – i don’t exercise, no healthy diet and i seldom eat nor consume fruits and vegetables.

I like to tell my parents nor my mom about it, but i’m afraid they will just scold me because i don’t take care of myself and i kept ignoring their advice of eating fruits and vegetables. On another hand, i have so many problems to think of and i just want to forget this symptoms.

This past months, i was always in clinic for checkup since my diarrhea and constipation is coming back. I have a series of stool test then the results always show negative of ameobiosis. After my few days my diarrhea is gone but constipation substitute, i have no bowel movement for 3days even i eat a LOT of foods. I really have bad times during this days… it’s uncomfortable. ugh! Oh yeah i feel theres something inside me like a bumps or burning inside the intestine. I thought it’s an Ulcer since i have stain of bloods in my stools or sometimes the bloods just dripping out of my rectum after my stool. It’s scary but i just keep it to myself and this blog since im just a nobody here and no one knows i blog here. It’s better to be anonymous.

So far i have regular bowel movement… but not like before i have a regular bowel usually early in the morning but now i have in afternoon or evening. At least i have a daily bowel movement. LOL! hehe.

I’m sickly but I’m fighting back. I’m trying to learn to eat vegetables even its not good to look at and i now have daily fruits like banana or mango.

I don’t like to go to doctor, i’m afraid of getting positive colon cancer that will just depressed me. haaayyy. I hope this symptoms is just a false alarm.
